Ter Scott will publish Therapeutic Coloring book using the Power of Squares to Shape your Life.

If you are here, you probably saw that I'm working on my latest coloring book having to do with squares (the title isn't finalized yet). My previous book, Calming Circles is available on Amazon. If you sincerely want to bring calmness, and reduce stress and anxiety you may want to purchase it and start coloring today. I assure you that it is not like any other adult coloring book available today and the price will go up to $29 in the very near future.

I'm currently working on my next coloring book about squares. To let everyone know about it, I'm offering 3 of the designs for free. You can download the pdf here (as many as you want and your can share with family and friends). I don't need your email or anything for you to download these 3 designs to enjoy for free.

If you enjoy doing them and would like to have one or more of your completed colored designs used as example in the published version, use the contact form on this page to request an email address where you will get instructions and can send a photo. I'm not sure when I'll have the book ready for printing so complete and send your photo as soon as you can (no pressure).

If your completed colored page is accepted, we'll send you a published version of more than 100 designs; that's a $29 value. (This is a hint as to the price increase for the current Calming Circles book now on sale on Amazon).

In handwriting, the way you write your capital letter "E" shows your desire for nice things. Is this you?

Hello. My name it Ter Scott and I’m the “Handwriting Interpreter™”. I’m a graphologist offering many services from revealing personalities and traits of people through their handwriting on many levels. What I am presenting here is valuable in learning the traits of your possible new hire, who may be a liar, a thief or simply someone not suitable for the position prior to making your decision of hiring, training and the firing.

I hope you don’t immediately go to the negative side in thinking one may be a “liar” or worse. I’m simply giving you feedback, of which I would gladly share with the job candidate, which denotes suitability. I’m sure that you as an employer and you as an employee (whoever is reading this just now) want to be happily engaged in an avocation which best suits your personality and temperament.

This material is not meant to make you into a full-fledged graphologist, but it will give you a quick reference to certain elements in handwriting which when they “stand out” or are “repeated” within a reasonable sample of handwriting, could indicate personality traits; either suitable or unsuitable for your business.

The Letter (Capital E) Shows desire for nice things.

In handwriting, the vowels are probably the most revealing so I think I’ll continue now with the letter e; but in the Capital form.

The person, who uses this type of capital letter E as shown in my depiction here, is very intelligent and desires education, travel, and notably even exotic adventure. This person loves writing, music and fine food.

This personality type would most likely do well in a position offering such pursuits. One such position which comes to mind would be that of a journalist. If you are interviewing someone with this element in his or her writing, you would be wise in emphasizing the things listed in your benefits package which would attract such a person.

CAUTION: As with all elements in one’s handwriting, each need to be weighed with the presence of other elements and the repetition in which it occurs (among other things).

Want to try the Pre-hire Handwriting Analysis service for your company or corporation? The rate per analysis is based on your company size, number of employees, and first year salary of the position. The candidate replies to several general “success” questions along with several customized which are pertinent to your business which you’ll supply. You’ll then overnight the handwriting sample to my office and I’ll analyze it and return with my findings. If this service interests you, inquire by using the contact form on this page. I’ll reply with details and my credentials.

The Small Letter "a" tells You your Pre-hire is "Blunt" in Sharing Opinions

Are you hiring the right, or best job candidate for the position?

This material is not meant to make you into a full-fledged graphologist, but it will give you a quick reference to certain elements in handwriting which when they “stand out” or are “repeated” within a reasonable sample of handwriting, could indicate personality traits; either suitable or unsuitable for your business.

The (Small) Letter A

In handwriting, the vowels are probably the most revealing. The small letter (like the small letter o”) can reveal directness, or “bluntness” and “frank”. This doesn’t mean that a person is honest or opinionated but it does show that one with this type of writing will, when asked, honestly share his or her opinion.

When the “a” is “open” he will share his opinion without being asked and the wider the opening, the easier this person shares. If you have the need for people be confidential and keep their opinions to themselves, this may not be the person for the position.

Learn what your handwriting reveals at Ren in the Glen, July 27-28, 2019

I'm looking forward to meeting you at the Ren in the Glen at the end of July. This is such a fun little Ren Fest nustled in a quaint little Wisconsin community. This will be my 3rd year and I absolutely love it. I don't charge the usual fees as this is almost a "vacation" for me as I "work" but I also spend time with my daughter and granddaughter.

If you graduated without knowing how to read or write, teach yourself; learn.

One of my most favorite influences and graphologists is Andrea McNichol. In her book, she explains what she calls "a sad state of affairs" by the Mexican government. And, sadly we are also doing it right here in the USA. Here's her take:

Around 1980, the Mexican government, under President Jose Lopez Portillo, forbad the teaching of cursive writing in all of its schools, both public and private. The children could learn only to print and nothing more. The reasons for this outrageous mandate have never been made clear. As a result, when we look at the signatures of those Mexicans who have emigrated to the United States and have never learned cursive writing, we find a faked, squiggle line. That's all they can do.

This is a very sad state of affairs. Mexico is the only country* in history to go backward in time and deprive its people of an invaluable ability. The young people of Mexico now no longer can read or write cursive at all, nor can they sign their own names.

*That is until now. Read on...

There is now a debate that public schools in the USA needn't teach cursive (and eventually no writing at all). With the advent of ongoing technology one only needs to speak and the writing appears on our mobile and other devices. Someday the masses will only have to wave their hand or scan their forehead to make transactions, so why learn to write?

Why should we continue to teach writing skills in our schools? The reason is this (and history proves this point) ...

Those who do not know how to read and write
will always be subject to those who do.
Ter Scott, Life & Legacy Coach (and Graphologist)

Are these writers and so-called "thinkers" pooling their ignorance or is there something more sinister going on?

e.e. cummings or E. E. Cummings?

In one of my recent live Handwriting Events, an attendee asked me why c.c. cummings (or C.C. Cummings) "always," wrote his name is lower case. I remember seeing this before and thought it was "cool" (using a 70's term) and thought it was for "effect" (much like I purposely use an exclamation point after my name, Ter Scott!).

So, going to the Internet this morning (if it's on the Internet it has to be true, right?) and found this:

It seems that the convention of writing “e. e. cummings” in lowercase came about after some publishing houses printed his name on the cover in lowercase letters. After a critic wrote that e. e. cummings had legally changed his name to lowercase letters, Cummings’ wife wrote, “you should not have allowed H. Moore to make such a stupid & childish statement about Cummings & his signature.”

Do you carry a Gratitude Rock?

“Every time I touch this rock…”

I first heard of the “Gratitude Rock” from Lee Brower who spoke about it in the movie, The Secret. He tells the story of how he carried a rock in his pocket and every time he touched the rock he thought of something he was grateful for; which usually happened when he put it in his pocket in the morning and pulled it out to place it on his dresser at night.

Now it may seem odd that a graphologist is talking about a Gratitude Rock and why or how does it relate to graphology. Well at first glance, it doesn't. But I'm the Life & Legacy Coach first, and a graphologist second. Everything that I do relates to "living life and leaving a legacy". And certainly, living a life of gratitude (or not) is expressed in your handwriting!

One time he was with someone and it fell out of his hand. The person asked what it was and when Lee explained how he used it daily to remind him to be grateful, the man called it a “Gratitude Rock”.

Then the story became “bigger than life”.

The man emailed Lee two weeks later from South Africa saying that his son was very sick and for Lee to send him three gratitude rocks. As I compose this sentence (I have to remove my glasses and wipe the moisture from my eyes because I am so moved by this request that Lee got from this person). Lee was also emotional because, as he said, his rocks were “just rocks I found off the street, so I said sure”.

However, Lee took much more time in finding these three special rocks and sent them.

You can see a short video of Lee and how this played out here. I assure you that watching it will change you and you’ll want to find and carry a gratitude rock.

As the “Life & Legacy Coach”™, I carry a small supply with me when I present my live events.

When you see me as the “Handwriting Interpreter”, be sure to ask about them. The rocks that I make available are labeled “Gratitude”, covered with protective coating for durability and I personally bless each. They are for sale for only $1. Or, you can find your own small rock to use.

When you realize great experiences, I invite you to list your gratitude rock story below:
