I get the pleasure of performing my handwriting gigs all over the country. Here I will share part of a letter (edited) in response to an inquiry about my HANDWRITING INTERPRETER ACT (in this case, an anniversary celebration) so anyone stumbling upon this article will gain some insight as to "what I do and how I do it". Hope you can read my sincerity and enjoyment in the words which follow.
First,
congrats on the anniversary! Thanks for requesting a quote for my handwriting
show. The Handwriting Interpreter Act will be a delightful and
very entertaining addition to your Anniversary Celebration!
It’s hard to
give you a “definite” quote because I don’t know what you envision, what your
audience is like, and such details. Following is how I’ve done similar events
but this is all about you and your event
so I can modify it to fit. The presentation is completely customized to your
setting around the following format.
I will
present an hour long group
presentation (so everyone is a part of the experience) explaining a bit about
graphology and how it “reveals” people’s personalities; from about 1:30 to 2:30.
I’ve done this for corporate parties and large events such as the American
Cancer Society, etc. It’s really a lot of fun and I tailor it to your occasion.
The performance is very interactive and the audience is usually laughing so
hard at times that I will need someone in the audience to keep me on track!
By “interactive”
I mean for example that I do a simultaneous group analysis of everyone in the entire
audience! This is something that I have done in many of my shows and to my knowledge;
I’m the only graphologist who does such a thing! Also, during the graphology
demonstration, I’ll have the two guests of honor (those celebrating the
anniversary) write something and I will reveal the analysis to the entire
audience; no worries I keep it “clean” and positive! I’ll also interpret
publicly the analyses of a few “brave souls” who dare stand up front with me;
couples and singles are great for this and it also gives people in the group an
idea of what the “individual” sessions will be like later, if they choose to
participate.
After the group presentation (around 2:45 or so) I’ll do as many
one on one, private individual sessions for as long as time allows; these will be included
in the package price and you may want to predetermine those I’ll work with as time
is limited. (Each analysis is usually 10 minutes in length so I can usually do
5 per hour, I do offer a “speed” analysis which could possibly double the number
of participants if you’d like).
Finally, no one misses out as everyone receives a
card “good for one analysis” via the mail or they can scan or fax and email me!
I will bring all the supplies for my show and I will check with the venue to
find out about the use of a microphone PA setup.
Currently
your date is “open” but we should confirm this soon as my holiday party bookings will
start to come in (her date was in December; for those reading please allow up to 6 months to be more sure that I'm available). I would need to get a better picture of what your event will
be like and then I can be more “firm” on the price. What I’ve described above
starts at $999. That will be paid via (she went through an agency) but you’ll also need to take
care of meals, airfare from and to Minnesota (just mail me the tickets), transportation
from and back to the airport, lodging of at least one night prior and/or after
the event (if only one night, I’d prefer the night to be prior the event so I'm prepared and
sure that the airline gets me there on time!) just provide the paid confirmation
number for the hotel and contact number.
Remember
that I can customize things further to accommodate your crowd. I will guarantee
that your group has never seen (and probably will never again see) such an act as
