Think and Grow Rich, My Thoughts; and Analysis of his Signature
As I removed the sleeve from the book I discovered that its front cover was emblazoned with the signature of Napoleon Hill. I immediately knew I should comment as a graphologist. But first, my overall impressions.
Think and Grow Rich; and Prosper (my cat).
I just purchased Think and Grow Rich from the bookstore. I don’t think I’ve ever paid this much, $22, for a text other than when I was in college. I’ve paid thousands for workshops and programs but when it comes to books I admit I’ve found many which I have read and love at bargain bookstores and thrift shops. I’ve known for some time what I learned from Ben, “Enter the coins from your purse into your mind and your mind will enter coins into your purse” and as I continue living with the abundance principle I now am realizing more coins for my purse.
Anyway, I have already read Think and Grow Rich many times; not as often as my friend Bob Proctor who has read parts of it daily for years, but at least several times. This is evident by the huge difference in how much more he has realized (not just monetarily) than I. But I digress.
I’ve read this book before so why did I, after seeing it available again while perusing a bookstore recently when I had an “urge” to simply visit and browse, see it and then return to purchase? There probably are more reasons than even I am aware but for me, it was the fact that it stated “The Complete CLASSIC Text”. I only taken the plastic off and removed the slipcover before writing this and noticed Napoleon’s signature (which is why I’m writing this; to tell my graphology fans what his signature reveals) so I don’t know if this means it’s the very first writing which wasn’t changed after those who first read his works and realized that “the secret” should not be revealed. However, if it is the “watered down” version, I will not make excuses because I know that this text also contains the power to riches.
Someone who knows about the original version is Kevin Trudeau. His name and fame have been slandered to the point of unbelief by many. However, Trudeau has shared how the very first manuscript had been banned by the “originals”; those whose successful lives and secrets were presented in the book and then removed for the general public. So, I’m hoping that this is the unabridged and original version but as I also said, if not, it holds great value and power in using to achieve so much in life and if it is not, I’ll have to get the true “CLASSIC TEXT” elsewhere.
Think and Grow Rich has been written about and repackaged over and over again throughout the years, and I for one am glad to see this. I think that whatever it takes to catch the attention of the common man (which includes the “common” woman) to read these life-changing thoughts and really change their thoughts and lives is truly invaluable.
I will speak more about the “look” of the book and how it was handsomely designed to pull the “coins from my purse” but for now, I will address my thoughts of his signature from the viewpoint of a graphologist, as “Ter Scott! The Handwriting Interpreter”.
I have analyzed many signatures and have been told that I was “spot on”. I, of course, was told so by the “public”; those who knew the person publicly. I say this because one’s signature reveals who they are, or want to be known by, publicly. It does not reveal their private life even though many people are the same publicly and privately and their writing and signature shows this. I’m telling you this because I can only tell you what Napoleon Hill was like “publicly” because I only have his signature to work with.
Next, it is important to note that when I analyze any writing, I start with “the whole”, the “big picture” and narrow down to the minor details if time and reason dictate doing so. Of course, it has been said that “the devil is in the details” so that’s where if you have your own handwriting analyzed by myself or another graphologist, I would suggest getting the in-depth version when possible.
And finally, before I tell you what this famous signature is telling me, I must say that for me to tell you the “why” behind every jot and tittle which determines the outcome of my findings would take me far too long and perhaps even take the joy of this. For now trust me as to what I tell you, have fun with our time here and if you are intrigued by the art of handwriting analysis I invite you to research the topic and make your own conclusions (Graphologists will agree with each other’s findings, however, one might present different elements which they, from their own likes, dislikes, experiences, and preferences; because the handwriting is there and the elements of handwriting analysis are there).
The above is the typical “preface” I share with all my live audiences whether I’m addressing a room of a thousand or doing a one with one private consultation. Now, I’ll continue with my quick analysis, of Napoleon’s signature.
Immediately I see that this man was one of clarity. I also know this to be true from reading and hearing his words (on YouTube videos) about the necessity for being clear on one’s goals. His signature is “readable” and he was “readable” by all who knew and heard him out in public.
The largest part of his writing is the upper and lower zones, indicating that he was an intellect and had great physical strength. The consistency of the middle zone indicates that his life was planned, comfortable with little changes up and down or sporadic, and that he was a “forward” thinker. His letter “i” dot shows that he was very detailed. He also got “right to the point”.
Certainly, there is more to this signature than I can offer here, but those are the “big” points. Having presented these, I am making the assumption that these hold true also for his private life. I’ll have to see his other writing to know for certain.
I have actually analyzed the signature of one who passed and my findings were used at the memorial for the person. I can do commissioned projects such as that and you’ll also see how you can learn more about booking yours truly to speak at your convention, company event, one on one private consultation and more. Feel free to ask your questions and leave comments at the end of any article or post.
